H.I.Productions brings a unique blend of cinematography and videography to add a greater level of quality to film and video production in Las Vegas.
September 28, 2004 -- Hamilton International Productions has recently emerged as Las Vegas' newest International film and video production company. H.I.P. began as the brainchild of Andrew Hamilton, a 2002 graduate of UNLV's film production program. In a very short time, H.I.P. has shot promotional videos and short films in the U.K. , India, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Thailand, Mexico, and here.
Recently, Hamilton International has chosen Las Vegas as its base of operations, shooting conferences, conventions, and short films. When asked why Las Vegas over Hollywood as the primary location for productions, Andrew Hamilton responded, "I grew up here in Vegas and have been anxious to start a film production company to service the international community. After some deliberation, I decided that the area with the greatest need for diversity is my own home town."
With broadcast and prosumer video cameras, professional audio recording capabilities, and Final Cut Pro editing workstations, H.I.P. is poised to take Las Vegas by storm, while providing the motion picture 'boom town' with a viable service.
Hamilton International Productions currently owns the options on 3 feature-length scripts and is collaborating with several local production companies for independent short film ventures.
Andrew hopes to merge cinematography with event videography to bring a unique quality of production to the Las Vegas market. He trained under Director of Photography, Michel Hugo who was the Cinematographer for Mission Impossible, Dynasty, Melrose Place, along with a who's who list of motion pictures. H.I.P.'s founder offers praise for the famous cinematographer, "Michel has been a valuable mentor to me and by applying those years of training, I feel I can make a worthwhile contribution to the film and video industry of Las Vegas."
Andrew Hamilton is booked for a 2 week production run in October and November that will take him overseas, yet again to Singapore and India to cover conferences and national speakers. Even though H.I.P. calls Las Vegas "home" there appears to be no slowing down of its International vision!
